Used Mobile Homes

Tuesday, June 29th, 2010

Our used mobile homes and liquidations page has recently been redesigned.  The big difference is that we are now using a header row for the thumbnail graphics.  We feel this new layout is a little more user friendly and we hope you enjoy.

Homefinder Utility: Display Updated

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

Another update has been added to our homefinder utility.  The display region has been cleaned up to present a nicer, easy-to-read, caption.  Information about a mobile home’s series and dimensions are added to the caption, which makes finding a mobile home even easier.

Homefinder Utility: Search Field

Wednesday, January 6th, 2010

The homefinder Utility now comes equipped with a small search function.  You simply begin typing the name of the model in the search field, and the list of homes will update.

This provides a faster way for you to look for the home you want without having to sift through all the filter choices; provided you know the name of the model.

The search feature is not case sensitive; you can type either upper or lower case.

We are continually improving our websites and enhancing the user experience.  If you have a suggestion please e-mail webmaster@factoryexpohomes.com.

Color Sample Updates

Monday, January 4th, 2010

We’re ringing in the New Year with some updates to our color collections.

We’ve discontinued 2 linoleum samples that were part of the Wyndover, Juniper, and Sandrock Decor collections.  In place of that, we’ve added 4 new samples to our collection.  These are the Parma, Sydney (26 & 37), and Wild Cherry.  Those samples are viewable here.

There are updated carpet samples available as well.  The Wyndover Collection, Anchorage II, and the Textured Comfort Collection, can be viewed here.

Please check with a sales representative to confirm which collections are available for your mobile homes.

Homefinder Utility Update:

Monday, December 14th, 2009

We made some updates last week to the homefinder utility.  The first thing to notice in the new version is that the large graphic was removed.  We noticed that users where having trouble finding how to filter their searches, so we decided to get rid of anything distracting and emphasize the filter menu bar.

Next, we decided to change the layout from 3 side-by-side panels to 2 side-by-side and 1 underneath spanning both columns.  The large display area allows for a clearer representation of each home and leaves us the opportunity to work on two things:  1. Creating larger floor plan graphics, and 2. Adding descriptive text to each home.

Other improvements have been made to the backend.  The functions are written better to make the system smaller and more flexible.  If you have any suggestions for improvements, please contact the web development staff in the corporate office.
